OB appointment

I went to have my one week check up today and have my staples removed. My OB said my incision looks great and I am healing nicely and quickly -which is good. I got the pathology back on Baby A (Justin is Baby B) and it seems like there was a problem with the umbilical cord and the way it was inserted into the placenta. That led to the baby not getting the right blood flow and so could not survive. They did not do DNA testing because they found the cord problem. It is still so bittersweet to me - to have Justin here and so perfect and at the same time to be sad for the baby that was lost. I am sure in time it will get better...I was just caught off guard because I didn't know that anything was sent for testing until the appointment today.
