Korean Liberation Day!

Today is a Korean holiday- Liberation Day. It started on August 15, 1945 when Korea gained its independence from Japan. I have started reading up on some holidays and local customs on the Internet. Since we have about two years to wait... I feel very strongly about keeping her culture alive in our daily lives. I want her to have a connection to her birth parents and country. So, I think we will start by recognizing some holidays, learning a little Korean cooking and maybe picking up a few words here and there. I want to start now rather than when she comes so it will be a gradual adjustment for the boys and then when we bring her home it won't be something else that changes for them.
