Go Fetch!

Justin has learned a new game - fetch. By saying fetch I mean drop things over the side of a high chair, lap or stroller and watch Mom and Dad pick it up. In these pictures he was on my Dad's lap eating crackers. He would take a bite and then let the rest of it drop off the side. It was so funny to see him look for it. Even after he got a new cracker, he would still check on the ones on the floor. It was so funny!

If only it were this easy to train the dog and kids and husband! Moms are so easy every time a baby drops something, we pick it up. They expect it of us, I think that is why we do it. Then if we don't we feel guilty because the books all say that this is how the learn cause and effect. And what Mom wants a kid who doesn't understand cause and effect - and then be blamed for it.

He also does this when I change things around. Like when he woke up from his nap and the Christmas tree was up. He kept turning his head to go back to it. Then I put stuff in his crib while organizing his room. Brian came upstairs with him and he kept looking in the crib because there is usually nothing in there.

Brian got jealous of all the pictures and attention and had to get 'dressed up' in his Chargers jersey. His favorite NFL player is LaDanian Tomlinson. He goes around giving Sean his autograph - too cute!

Oh where, Oh Where...
...has my cracker gone?
