Distraction

Justin was playing in his exersaucer and started to get upset. He want out and it started with some yelling and showing the "boo-boo" lip. Which is so darn cute! The he started to really yell and cry. Brian got up and put a football on his tray! And what to you know - instant fix. No more crying. He banged on and looked at the football for maybe five more minutes before he got upset again.

It is amazing how little kids can be so easily distracted by new things. He has such a short attention span but if you change things up often enough, he is happy for a long time. He gets rotated through being held, the play gym, the swing, the exersaucer, the jump-up etc. The boy has a fuller schedule than I do!
