Go Blue Hens!

What a great day for a football game - especially when your team wins! The University of Delaware beat James Madison University 37-34! Go Blue Hens! The boys' cousin Joe is the starting QB - #5! It was a good game - and a little too close at times! It was Justin's first sporting event - not counting Brian's t-ball and soccer - and he did great! A woman behind us told us that he gets a gold star for being so good at the game!

We got Dunkin' Donuts for the car ride to Delaware and Sean ate Munchkins through the face mask of his helmet! What a crazy kid! He thought it was fun to cover himself on the bleachers with rally towels - he looked like a bum! He told us he was a sleeping hippo.

Brian was really into watching his cousin Joe play - Sean on the other hand tuned out after about five minutes into the first quarter! After the game he did enjoy running on the field and talking to Joe! They both loved standing up on the bleachers and waving their rally towels!

I grew up in Newark, DE. I consider myself a big Blue Hen's fan although I've only gone to one football game of theirs in my whole
life, with family friends.
